transhumanism 1:00 pm
From a project called the “great enhancement debate”, here’s my sister, Nina. Note that she thinks for herself and doesn’t just follow my own views, and seems, for example, more optimistic than me that transhumans on the whole will inherit the better aspects of our humanity rather than the worse. Anyway, here are the videos:

Note to self: Do not date Michael’s sister, she will say mean things about you afterwards.

Sympathies, Nina, for your dating troubles. I lost friends to transhumanism. I added it to politics and religion as a taboo subject of conversation.

Quite refreshing, I must say.
I wish, she was right, but she isn’t. Her brother is more right.

IMHO, there is no chance, we will have an infinite amount of computing in our hands.
Not even in the form of “multiverse” what Michael permits. For when you explained something finite with an infinite mechanism - be it a God or Multiverse - you explained nothing in fact.

Dear Miss Transhumanist
I’m verifiably smarter than you and better looking too. Rather than dumping you on those grounds, I’m not going to be even dating you. Remember the pre-crime unit in Minority Report? My pre-relationship unit tells me you’d have too slow neuronal function and too non-average shape (I date hyper-averages only) to keep my happiness-hormones at elevated enough levels. Enjoyed your l33tist views though.
Hit me up when you’ve gone post.

A primitive jerk, posthumanhunk. That’s what you are.

Your a bitch.
And I am certainly very disappointed in your condescending view.
I definitely would not want to say I call myself a Transhuman after watching your video/s
Are you superior in some way to other people? Perhaps you have some inferiority complex?
….Oh your boyfriend is not very smart?, and is very easy to impress him, you could tell him anything? He listens to The Doors, all that kind of crap!!……
Does that make you feel great? I bet it did!!
Ahhh and what sort of music would be appropriate for a transhuman to listen to?
What you said in your video/s certainly will not promote Transhumanism for those who are “unsure” of it, it more than likely will only push them away and make them more angry.

posthumanhunk comment was jokingly referring to the stringent criteria she applies to dating. http://spacecollective.org/nina/2296/Michael-Anissimov-response-to-introductory-videos
If you read this, you’ll see she’s no uber elitist, and even if she is, I want more of her kind.

Thank you posthumanhunk for linking my response.
For those who were critical, keep a few things in mind. Namely, I am not regularly interviewed. This isn’t a topic I discuss often anymore, since I moved away from my brother. There is a very small community of transhumanists (or even those open minded to the concept) in Santa Cruz, being populated mainly by eccentric artists, hippies, and other such types. As a result, my opinions and views are disappointingly disorganized. We were just mouthing off for two hours there, and it was cut into these three short segments. I should be more careful in the future, because i’d have preferred my casual chat about my ex’s to be cut from the record, than used for ironic comedy.
Secondly, Rene and Megan Daalder provoked me a bit with their questions about life extension, leading me to gain a haughty and ignorant attitude (I can’t abide the thought of people dying as often as they do each day without getting a bit frustrated). But I defend that my perspective was still refreshing: I speak without an agenda, clear of rhetoric and esoteric data, in an innocent, “how could someone possibly dislike the idea of human enhancement?” way.
No one hails me as a figurehead of transhuman PR, and I wasn’t trying to be; nor was I trying to impress anyone with my intellectual prowess. I was just casually giving my optimistic outlook at the request of my friend for the sake of her first film. Before you criticize, please consider looking at other video entries on Space Collective.
Lastly, the camera was situated at the exact wrong location with the exact wrong lighting. The pictures below are more fair.
