You are so right that the niche sites are better. This is exactly the kind of thing, and quality of people I was hoping to find there.

I was dissapointed by article on cracked.com. Basically, beacause it was written without “good jokes” (except the sand, pearl etc in the end). But also beacause it presents singularity in such a way that nobody will think about it in a serious manner. Not that I care, I just cannot fathom why it is seen by Michael as worth of noticing. It does more harm than good and it’s claims are simplified to the point where they become ridicolous. I would say that the guy is just excited about singularity in most nerdy manner, and that’s it.
