  1. Very much the response I was expecting, though delivered with remarkable clarity.

  2. Yeah, no news here. Google is aware of the ultimate aim, but is more focused on achieving conservative, realistic goals for the short to medium term. We really need some more medium to long term thinking, but I’ll take any work in IT we can get. Google will make the ambitious among us more productive.
