Cool Transhumanist Websites that Update Frequently Tuesday, May 4 2010

What are the transhumanist websites that update frequently that you like to read? I’ll list a some here, including a few less-known ones, that I subscribe to or skim over occasionally. Singularity Hub and h+ magazine have especially been looking good this year, partially because their authors tend to be paid for their work. (Want to see better and more h+ flavored news and analysis? Pay someone to write it!)

Great list of links, Michael. Got most of them on the Edge of Tomorrow blogroll, but now we have a couple more to add. – cheers
If you don’t mind me suggesting another site, I’d add Kyle Munkittrick’s “Pop Transhumanim” at http://www.poptranshumanism.com/
Good links, thanks. I also follow Singularity & Futurism ( http://www.thepriceofrice.com ), although between aggregation and cross posting I have no clue where the better content comes from anymore.
futurepundit.com has articles covering human biotech, enhancement, existential risk, with a sprinkle of political analysis.
You forgot one: http://www.acceleratingfuture.com/
One thing I’ve done is to shift my label of a web list like this from H+ or Transhumanism over to Technology (or accelerating tech or my favorite “the future is now”). Most of the people I interact with are completely open and in fact are excited about new tech and innovation. I often hear back things like, “I had no idea people were working this…”.
I hardly ever heard follow up comments when I was labeling them H+, etc. I think it has to do with people’s reluctance to be labeled (especially if it might be labeled as a cultish group!). Same list sent to the same (or similar) people with radically different replies.
Ain’t human nature grand?

I have relaunched my website http://www.plausiblefutures.com – online since the mid-90s. Tons of interesting future-stuff to be found there.
