Chana de Wolf

Research Associate, Alcor

Chana de Wolf works as a research associate to help Alcor build a sustainable, multi-faceted cryonics research program. Chana graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Experimental Psychology in 2001 and received an M.S. in Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. She has several years of experience working as a research assistant in a variety of laboratory environments, and has taught college-level courses in neuroscience lab methods and biology.

She has assisted with a number of cryopreservation cases. She has undergone stabilization and transport training, receives surgical training on an ongoing basis, and continues to learn about perfusion technology and techniques. She became an Alcor member in February 2007 and serves as the co-organizer of the Phoenix Cryonics Meetup group. She and Aschwin de Wolf are writers for Depressed Metabolism, a technical blog about human cryopreservation and brain aging.
