Executive Direcor, World Transhumanist Association

James Clement J.D., LL.M. is an attorney and serial entrepreneur. He currently serves as the executive director of the World Transhumanist Association, an international nonprofit membership organization which advocates the ethical use of technology to expand human capacities. The organization supports the development of and access to new technologies providing everyone to enjoy better minds, bodies and lives.

Previously James Clement held the position of C.O.O. of the Maximum Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate research into anti-aging and life-extension. The Foundation holds scientific conferences and publishes reports on longevity research. In addition he has successfully launched and operated a number of startup companies and held consulting and management positions in non-profit, government, and corporate organizations.

He began his career in international business and real estate law, and worked for several years at Arthur Young & Company in New York City. He has been awarded degrees from Truman State University, the University of California Hastings College of the Law, and the New York University School of Law.
