Mike Treder

Executive Director, Center for Responsible Nanotechnology

Mike Treder is the Executive Director of the non-profit Center for Responsible Nanotechnology, an organization working to raise awareness of the issues presented by advanced nanotechnology. He is on the scientific advisory board of the Lifeboat Foundation and a consultant to the AC/UNU Millennium Project.

He is a Fellow of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies. His writings on the science and societal implications of molecular manufacturing include "Nano-guns, Nano-germs, Nano-steel," "Revolution in a Box," and "Safe Utilization of Advanced Nanotechnology."
