Mike Treder
Executive Director, Center for Responsible Nanotechnology
Mike Treder is the Executive Director of the non-profit Center for Responsible Nanotechnology, an organization working to raise awareness of the issues presented by advanced nanotechnology. He is a consultant to the AC/UNU Millennium Project. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies and participated in organizing conferences in 2008 on Global Catastrophic Risks with the organization taking place at Oxford in the United Kingdom and Mountain View, California in the United States. He has serves on the Nanotech Briefs Editorial Advisory Board, is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and a member of the World Future Society. Having published more than 30 articles and papers, he has been interviewed numerous times by the media and is an accomplished presenter on the societal implications of emerging technologies.
