Miron Cuperman is a futurist based in San Francisco. His interests include the new web, nanotechnology, and the Singularity. He is the CEO of FillZ, an online inventory management and order fulfillment system for volume book, CD and DVD sellers. He initially developed the technology behind FillZ to help a friend who was having difficulty loading her book inventory on to several marketplaces simultaneously. FillZ has since been incorporated into AbeBooks, as of June of 2004, has facilitated orders for books worth tens of millions of dollars on behalf of its clients.
