Tad Hogg

Tad Hogg is a researcher in the Social Computing Laboratory of Hewlett-Packard, focused on harvesting the collective intelligence of groups of people to optimize the interaction between users and information. His research interests include experimental economics, social networks, reputation mechanisms, information aggregation and applications of nanoscale devices and quantum computing.
In 2008, he presented at the 1st Annual Unither Nanomedical & Telemedical Technology Conference in April. At the 2008 Global Catastrophic Risks conference hosted by the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies, together with the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology, he spoke on the subject of distributed surveillance with MEMS & nano-scale sensors.
